Abstract:Objective: To observe the effects of sitting Baduanjin training at the trunk control dysfunction of patients with incompletethoracolumbar spinal cord injury. Methods: Sixty subjects with incomplete thoracolumbar spinal cord injury were recruited and randomly divided into two groups, which were interfered with sitting Baduanjin training combined with rehabilitation and rehabilitation, respectively.All patients received an evaluation at baseline and after treatment.They were assessed by sEMG recorded from the eretor spinae muscle,multifidus muscle and rectus abdominis,berg balance scale and?activitiesof daily living. Results: There was a notable improvement(P<0.05)in the sEMG,balance function and activities of daily living in the two groups after treatment. However, sitting Baduanjin training group was better than rehabilitation group.Conclusion: Sitting Baduanjin training is benefit for the trunk control dysfunction of patients with incomplete thoracolumbar spinal cord injury.
