Abstract:Objective: To explore the correlation between PCOS and collateral disease of traditional Chinese medicine by detecting the hemodynamic parameters of uterine spiral artery and ovarian stromal artery in patients with polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS). Methods: 1 The hemodynamic parameters (RI, S / D) of uterine spiral artery and ovarian stromal artery in 22 patients with PCOS were compared with that of 22 patients with routine physical examination; 2. The hemodynamic parameters (RI, S / D), antral follicle number, ovarian volume, blood testosterone (T) and sex hormone binding globulin of 22 PCOS patients before and after TCM retention enema treatment were compared (SHBG) level. Results: the hemodynamic parameters RI and S / D of uterine spiral artery in PCOS group were higher than those in control group, the difference was statistically significant (P < 0.05); while the hemodynamic parameters RI and S / D of ovarian stromal artery in PCOS group were lower than those in control group (P < 0.05). Compared with before treatment, RI and S / D of uterine spiral artery decreased, RI and S / D of ovarian stromal artery increased, antral follicle number decreased, ovarian volume decreased, testosterone (T) decreased in PCOS group compared with before treatment (P < 0.05). Conclusion: PCOS belongs to the category of collateral disease of traditional Chinese medicine according to the test data of Western medicine. TCM retention enema can improve the morbid blood flow state of ovary and uterus and other important indicators by dredging local collaterals, which is worthy of clinical promotion.
