Abstract:Perimenopausal insomnia has a high prevalence among women in China , which seriously impairs the quality of life of perimenopausal women. Director Zhang Yaping holds that the pathogenesis of perimenopausal insomnia is associated with the failure of yang qi in warming the body and ascending properly. By applying the Huiyang Juqi Acupuncture (Yang-Converging and Qi-Accumulating Acupuncture), he regulates the middle-jiao spleen and stomach, ascends yang qi, and accumulates qi to balance yin and yang, calm the mind, and stabilize the will. This therapy has achieved favorable clinical effects in the treatment of perimenopausal insomnia.
